1,830 acres, more or less, Fisher County, TX. This is the farthest east section of what comprises the Fowler family ranches. It is located approximately three (3) miles NW of the town of Rotan, TX. Currently, there is a 1,360-acre tract also listed. It is owned by another family entity along with the owner of this acreage. The terrain of this tract has some flatter pastures but is traversed by rougher country, including some ravines and deeper canyons. The views from this ranch are panoramic and it has a great vantage point over the Double Mountain Fork of the Brazos River which is on the far north boundary of this ranch. The wildlife in this area includes Mule and White tail deer, along with hogs and other varmints. Of additional interest is the presence of a sizeable Aoudad population. These are seen more often around the bluffs overlooking the river, but certainly adds to the sporting opportunities of these tracts. The ranch is currently being leased for cattle grazing to a local rancher, who also looks after the place. Potable water is supplied from the city of Rotan which has been piped to the cattle water troughs throughout the ranch. This ranch is well-priced in this market.
