Brian is a native Texan, having been born in Matagorda County and raised in Austin and the surrounding Hill Country. He has always enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and horseback riding. Years of working family ranches, as well as assisting on various ranches in both Texas and Louisiana has provided Brian experience in both cattle and horse operations, as well has hunting and grazing properties.

Brian is an Army veteran with almost ten years in service. After his Army career, he spent nearly thirty years in sales and procurement for manufacturers, distributors, and government agencies both domestically and internationally. Throughout these years, he learned the necessity of listening and understanding the needs and desires of his clients. He also learned the art of negotiating solutions to achieve satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.

Brian and his bride of twenty-five years currently reside in Burnet County, where he enjoys hunting, fishing, and passing on his love of the land to his grandchildren.
